Citing References

Many different citing and referencing styles exist that all possess varied nuances specific to that style. Below are a number of learning objects specific to five different referencing styles, the Harvard Style, OSCOLA, Vancouver (numeric), Modern Humanities Research Association (MHRA) style and the American Psychological Association (APA) style, in addition to generic tools where a referencing style is not important:

A guide to citing the law using the Oxford Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA). The tutorial demonstrates how to cite 'primary' sources of law (i.e. cases and legislation) and how to refer to 'secondary' sources such as books, journals and government reports.
